The gated community of Stillwater is the perfect place to buy a home, raise a family, and feel secure in your safety. That is, until a mysterious shack appears on an empty plot of land, causing the residents to panic. Black couple Sihle and Bonolo are approached by their white neighbors Chris, Lynette, Andrew, and Jess to act as signatories on an eviction notice, sparking intense conversations around race, class, privilege, and property.

A Good House premiered at the Royal Court Theatre in London in 2025.
