After thirty years together, Lorna no longer knows who her wife Carrie is. Having received a life saving procedure to remove a disease from her brain, Lorna has also lost the memories of her relationship to Carrie. Told in reverse chronological order, from post-discharge meetings to the harrowing decision to undergo the surgery, ELEGY probes the ethics of scientific advancement, the ambiguities of love and faith, and the choices one makes to save the person they love.

Elegy premiered at the Donmar Warehouse in London in 2016.
